Once again this year, we had the pleasure of accompanying a group from NMS Lunz to an exciting workshop by the stream “Seebach”. The weather was beautifully sunny, and the children were full of enthusiasm for the theme “Researching by the Stream”. Together, we delved into the fascinating world of streams.
The students explored with enthusiasm various methods used by researchers to examine the shape of streams and to study the diversity of organisms in the stream.
It was particularly thrilling to discover the different animals living in and around the stream. From tiny insects to fish, the children were able to experience the fascinating diversity of stream inhabitants up close.
At the end of the afternoon, the students returned home with a new understanding of the importance of rivers and a lot of exciting experiences.
