Developed by researchers from the natural, social, and educational sciences in close collaboration with schools and educational partners, the materials foster critical thinking, curiosity, and joy in discovery – and demonstrate how science works in practice.
Overview:
• Primary level – The Forest of the Future: humanities-based inquiry combining storytelling, exploratory learning, and creative methods.
• Lower secondary level – Nature of Science: interactive materials that make the nature and characteristics of science tangible and easy to understand.
• Upper secondary level – Natural sciences: Students learn the steps of scientific research and conduct their own research project in aquatic ecology.
• Upper secondary level – Social sciences: Materials that introduce students to social science research – from developing a research question to analyzing surveys or interviews.
All materials are freely available and can be used directly in the classroom or adapted to individual needs.
Science begins in the classroom – where curiosity, critical thinking, and trust in research take root.
