Our first networking workshop on science education took place on 21st of November at University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU) in Vienna, Austria. The workshop centered on fostering connections, sharing insights, and exploring potential collaborators among initiatives.
The event started with a presentation by Eva Feldbacher, the project leader of INSE, discussing the project’s goal and ongoing endeavors. Following this, Matthias Kafka introduced the Science Center of Lower Austria, providing valuable insights into their work.
Engaging activities namely speed dating and the world café, took place afterwards. During the speed dating session, participants had 90 seconds to introduce their projects, fostering fast yet informative exchanges. The world café format encouraged group discussions, during which participants focused on the strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities in science education in Austria.
The workshop served as a platform for productive discussions, enabling the exchange of experiences, and paving the way for potential collaboration in the field of science education.
