We are excited to introduce our new INSE resource, “The forest of the future” designed for primary schools. This teaching material guides students into humanities research through a creative cycle of fairy tales, inquiry, and future workshops, with activities like storytelling and role-playing that spark discovery-based learning and imagination.
Our partner, PH NÖ, presented the newly published handout during induction week at the lower Austrian Teacher Education college, where 350 new teachers are preparing for the upcoming school year. The UNESCO Chair at the University of Teacher Education Lower Austria also hosted an information booth at the event, sharing the resource directly with future teachers.
With its practical materials and innovative teaching ideas, the publication supports educators in bringing the topics of forests and sustainability to life while fostering curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking in young learners.
