We are excited to announce that our partner, the University College of Teacher Education Lower Austria (PH NÖ), has initiated the newly released picture book “NA ZOOWAS! Wie die wilde Kraa den Tiergarten aufmischte”, by Melanie Laibl and Linda Schwalbe. This inspiring story of a bold raven and her call for freedom is a powerful tool for introducing young learners to the values of scientific inquiry and democratic participation. Thanks to PH NÖ, 200 copies of the book are available for distribution to schools, along with didactic teaching materials designed to integrate themes of science and democracy education into the classroom. In addition, PH NÖ has created a training course to support educators in bringing the story into the classroom. Participants will receive their own copy of the picture book, explore creative teaching ideas, and discover how NA ZOOWAS! can enrich lessons in science and democracy education.
