On September 26 and 27, 2024, the symposium “One Day there will be: Creating knowledge – Narrating Futures” took place at the University College of Teacher Education Lower Austria. Partners of the Interdisciplinary Network for Science Education Lower Austria (INSE) were actively involved and took the opportunity to present their innovative approaches to promoting science education.
The symposium featured a wide range of inspiring contributions from various disciplines. The diverse perspectives highlighted the importance of an interdisciplinary approach for futures literacy and science communication. The event was not only a platform for exchanging ideas but also emphasized how crucial different approaches and insights are for the development of effective science education.
