We are thrilled to announce that the science communication project titled “BrainFood”, led by ecologist Libor Závorka from our partner institute WCL, has been awarded funding by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF).
The BrainFood project aims to raise awareness of the values of scientific research for society. It seeks to interest a broad audience in understanding the connection between cognition and nutrition, while promoting a deeper understanding of humans’ close ecological ties to the natural world.
The INSE team is especially proud to share that two of our valued colleagues, Eva Feldbacher and Laura Coulson, are key members of the BrainFood Team. The team will develop digital semi-immersive learning experiences that can be accessed via a weblink or QR code, along with interactive short stories that explore fish behavior and cognitive skills.
We are excited to follow this journey and see how the team will inspire curiosity and bring science to life for a wide audience. Stay tuned for updates as the project unfolds!
