We are delighted to share that the activities planned as part of the SHORE project, in collaboration with our partner school NMS Lunz, have been successfully implemented!
Together with the WasserCluster Lunz, the students were able to experience three exciting activities focused on the topic of water:
• A water chemistry workshop with real laboratory experiments,
• An afternoon of exploration along the stream,
• A morning at Lake Lunz, offering diverse insights into the local ecology.
In addition, great activities were carried out with the Haus der Wildnis in the Dürrenstein-Lassingtal wilderness area – a truly unique learning environment that brings together wilderness, water, and science in a special way.
Through these experiences, the students learned a lot about the water bodies on their doorstep, from biodiversity to water quality – with lots of fun and good weather at the end!
The activities are part of the “Source to Sea” project, supported by SHORE, which aims to make the connection between local waterways and the oceans tangible.
We thank everyone involved for their dedicated participation and look forward to future collaborations!
