On September 20th, 2024, Dominik Eibl presented the first results of his research project, “Promoting an understanding of science (Nature of Science) in middle schools: Effectiveness of targeted interventions”, at the IMST conference in Linz.
His poster was presented to the Austrian Didactics Biology Community under the conference theme “Interdisciplinary Education – The Art of Networked Thinking”. The research focuses on innovative approaches to enhancing middle school students’ understanding of science through specific, targeted interventions. Early findings already indicate a significant improvement in the intervention group’s comprehension of science.
