At the end of November, the sixth and final Steering Board Meeting of the INSE – Interdisciplinary Science Education Network Lower Austria took place at the WCL in Lunz. The gathering offered an appreciative look back at three years of inspiring collaboration that resulted in an impressive range of materials, publications and innovative formats.
The project partners proudly presented their results, including teaching guides for science education in primary school and in lower and upper secondary levels across the social and natural sciences. The growing portfolio was complemented by academic publications, the Research Quartet for ages 8–14, the SCIBORG science board game, a science education app for upper secondary students, and the presentation of the picture book Na ZOOWAS! by Melanie Laibl and Linda Schwalbe.
Even though the project has now officially concluded, the team remains committed to sharing the developed materials, integrating them sustainably into classroom practice, and strengthening scientific literacy in the long term.
