February 11th marks the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, a day to celebrate the incredible achievements of women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and to promote gender equality in these fields.
While women have made significant contributions to science throughout history, they continue to face barriers, from gender stereotypes to lack of representation. This day serves as a reminder of the progress made and the work still needed to ensure that more women and girls can pursue careers in science.
From the INSE team, we would like to celebrate this day with you by recognizing the invaluable contributions of women in science and encouraging all women and girls to chase their dreams in STEM fields. Together, we can continue to build a more inclusive, innovative future.
Let’s celebrate, inspire, and support women in science today and every day!
